Mason Maggio, the DGM Racing driver from Palm Beach, Florida, has rapidly risen through the ranks of short-track racing and, subsequently, NASCAR. Maggio, however, doesn’t come from a racing family and instead developed his racecraft through rental go-karts, where the foundation of his racing career was laid. He continued to run laps and improve as he moved up through the ranks of Bandoleros, Legends cars and eventually Limited Late Models, before winning Rookie of the Year in the Carolina Pro Late Model Series with Rick Ware Racing.

Custer’s NASCAR Cup Series Debut

This weekend marks the Cup debut for Xfinity Series championship contender Cole Custer, 20, who will drive the Rick Ware Motorsports No. 51 Ford on Sunday. He joins Kyle Busch and Aric Almirola in making his first Cup start at the famed 1.5-mile speedway. Continue reading
