NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams will race 501 miles during 334 laps of the Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday night, April 9th.  The FOX Pre-race show begins at 7 pm ET with a green flag around 7:30 pm ET and radio coverage on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

Busch Clocks in First at Martinsville, Readies for Texas

Kyle Busch earned his first win of the season and his first career checkered flag at Martinsville Speedway when he led 352 of 500 laps on his way to Victory Lane in Sunday’s STP 500. Busch virtually guarantees himself a spot in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup as the fifth different driver to win this season  – Jimmie Johnson, 2; Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams are once again taking a break before their next race the Toyota Tundra 250 at Kansas Speedway on Friday, May 6th.  Fans can watch teams race 250.5 miles for 167 laps on FOX Sports 1 starting at 8 pm ET with a green flag around 8:30 pm ET and radio coverage by MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio on channel 90.

Nemechek’s in at Top of Truck Series Standings

John Hunter Nemechek continued his sizzling start to his first full-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season by finishing runner-up in Saturday’s Alpha Energy Solutions 250 at Martinsville Speedway.

The 18-year-old NASCAR Next member now ranks first in the Camping World Truck Series standings, three points ahead of Parker Kligerman. Nemechek has all but locked up a berth in the Camping World Truck Series Chase via his win at Atlanta.

He has finished second or better in four of his last five Truck Series starts and five of his last seven. Continue reading

Kyle Busch Completes Martinsville Sweep with Sprint Cup Victory

Kyle Busch came to Martinsville Speedway this weekend with no grandfather clock trophies from the shortest and tightest of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series short tracks.

He left with two clocks after completing an unprecedented Martinsville sweep in Sunday’s STP 500, and, appropriately, the first question he radioed to his crew after his celebratory burnouts dealt with telling time.

“What time is it?” crowed the reigning series champion, who a day earlier had won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville in his own equipment. Continue reading
