ARCA Racing Series’ 2014 champion, Mason Mitchell is getting back behind the wheel of his No. 78 Mason Mitchell Motorsports Chevrolet in the Full Throttle S’loonshine 98.9 at Kansas Speedway this weekend.

A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Mitchell was in the driver’s seat at Iowa Speedway in July when he gave his team an emotional hometown victory.  Continue reading

Last Friday night in his last scheduled race of the 2015 season, Mitchell won the #Thisismyspeedway 150 in front of his home town crowd at Iowa Speedway, showing he has what it takes, and deserves his chance at the next level of his career – NASCAR. One week ago Austin Wayne Self saw his first career win slip away due to a cut right rear tire in the closing laps at Chicagoland Speedway. Fast forward one week later and the driver of the No. 98 AM Technical Solutions-Pirate Energy Ford for Mason Mitchell Motorsports would not be denied victory. Self took the lead on a late race restart and led the last six laps en route to his first career win in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards at the Winchester Speedway. Continue reading
