Teams will have a second crack at Charlotte Motor Speedway with the Generation six car before the new season starts. Sprint Cup teams will test at Charlotte Thursday and Friday. Many more teams will be at Charlotte those two days, than the first test in mid December of 2012. There are 33 cars on the entry list for the test session, where drivers and crews should find out much more about the Generation six car and what they can do to improve with more drivers’ input. NASCAR Richard Childress Racing

Sprint Cup testing from Daytona will take place starting tomorrow. Testing is from 9am to 5pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with mid day breaks. The test session will be televised live on SPEED everyday as well as on speedtv.com. If weather becomes a factor, NASCAR will allow testing on Sunday.

The Nationwide Series silly season has been in full swing, with changes taking place even before the racing season wrapped up for 2012. Look for more changes before the new season starts in February 2013.
