Starting in 2014, Kevin Harvick will be with a new team for the first time in his Sprint Cup Career. Harvick will leave Richard Childress Racing after the 2013 season and drive for Stewart-Haas Racing starting at the Daytona 500 in 2014.

Richard Childress Racing teams were expected to be championship contenders during the 2012 season. Thus far, none of the RCR teams have shown the ability to be champions this season as only one team, the 29 of Kevin Harvick, even have a chance to be in the Chase.
