Burton Tired of Being a Bridesmaid at NASCAR‘s Most Competitive Track
One of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series most respected drivers – Jeff Burton – says he is ready for a little respect from NASCAR’s most competitive track – Talladega Superspeedway – during the Aaron’s 499 on May 5. Here Burton, known as “The Mayor” in NASCAR circles, tosses a bouquet of flowers in the trash, admitting he doesn’t plan on being a bridesmaid again at the 2.66-mile unpredictable track. A fan favorite, who will be featured as part of the Talladega Experience (NASCAR’s finest hospitality destination) on race morning, has five top-five finishes at Talladega, including a second place result in 2011 when he was edged at the finish line by then RCR teammate Clint Bowyer.

We Got Your Back! Cushioned Seat Rentals Now Available at Richmond International Raceway
Richmond International Raceway and IMG Seating are teaming up to offer padded seat rentals for the April 26-27 NASCAR weekend at RIR. Seat rentals are $8 per event and available for both the Saturday, April 27, Toyota Owners 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and the Friday, April 26, ToyotaCare 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race. Donnie Allison Book Re-Released; Set for Signings During Aaron’s Dream Weekend
Talladega Superspeedway is proud to congratulate legendary “Alabama Gang” member Donnie Allison and local author Jimmy Creed on the re-release of their book “Donnie Allison … As I Recall.”
Fans visiting Talladega Superspeedway for the upcoming Aaron’s Dream Weekend (May 3-5) will have several opportunities to meet Donnie and the author, buy the book and get it autographed.
Allison, as well as Creed, will do book-signing sessions at the International Motorsports Hall of Fame adjacent to Talladega Superspeedway from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 3, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 4. They will also meet and greet fans who attend the Aaron’s 499 on Sunday, May 5, during another book-signing session to be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. adjacent to the track’s Allison Grandstand.
