The Daytona 500 of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series has arrived at Iowa Speedway and on Friday night the winning driver of the Casey’s General Store 150 will have bragging rights.  Drivers are looking forward to the race at 7:30 pm ET on Friday night as much as the fans with everyone anticipating some fun on the track while drivers vie for the lead.  Continue reading →

Combination Event Puts Best of East and West on the Same Stage

Once again, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series divisions converge on Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa, for the Casey’s General Store 150 presented by Vatterott College on Friday, July 28. The annual combination event for both the K&N Pro Series East and West features teams from each series going head to head on the 0.875-mile D-shaped oval, and since its inception, the race has been a proving ground for future NASCAR success. Returning to Orange Show Speedway after 38 years, NASCAR K&N Pro Series West drivers will take center stage on Saturday, May 21st as teams take to the track for the first time since September 23, 1978 for the Sunrise Ford 150.

Representing Sunrise Ford Racing this weekend is the latest K&N West winner, Ryan Partridge who won at Tucson Speedway on May 7th and his teammate, Cole Rouse, who is competing for the 2016 Rookie of the Year honors. Partridge is now just four points behind series’ points leader, Todd Gilliland, while Rouse sits fourth in the point standings and six points behind last year’s series’ champion, Chris Eggleston who is third in points.  Continue reading →
