Kyle Busch Sweeps Second Straight NASCAR Weekend with Sprint Cup Win at Texas

Opportunistic Kyle Busch sped away from the rest of the field after a restart with 33 laps left in Saturday night’s Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway and collected his second straight NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory.

What’s more, Busch won his fourth straight NASCAR national series race, having swept last week’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Sprint Cup events at Martinsville and having won Friday night’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Texas. Continue reading

Kyle Busch Wins Record Eighth XFINITY Series Race at Texas

 

Kyle Busch broke his NASCAR XFINITY Series ‘losing streak’ on Friday night and in the process moved into rarefied air in the Lone Star State.

With a dominating victory from the pole in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway, Busch won for the fourth time in five XFINITY starts this year. His only loss in that stretch was a second-place run after a late blown tire robbed him of victory in his last outing at Auto Club Speedway.

But on Friday night, Busch was back to his winning ways, leading a race-high 150 laps at the 1.5-mile track, notching his record eighth victory at Texas and extending his own series record to 80 triumphs. Continue reading

NASCAR XFINITY Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Preview

NASCAR XFINITY Series teams will race 300 miles during 200 laps in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway, Friday, April 8th. FOX Sports 1 will begin their pre-race coverage at 8 pm ET with a green flag around 8:30 pm ET and radio coverage by PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

Suárez Rides to Texas Anticipating to Build on his Early Momentum

After a two-week hiatus, the NASCAR XFINITY Series is back in action Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300. One driver especially excited to get back to racing is series standings leader Daniel Suárez. Suárez holds a ten-point lead over second-place Elliott Sadler and a 19-point lead over third-place Justin Allgaier. Continue reading
