The NASCAR Cup Series race at Circuit of the Americas/COTA was one of the best races in a long time, providing good racing action for everyone, The race showcases varying pit strategies, red-hot battles on the track, and drivers having to walk the delicate tightrope between running hard enough to hold position while trying to conserve fuel. Sadly, the entertainment value of the race came undone at the end with a late caution leading to several overtime restarts and chaos.

PHOENIX, Ariz. – In a wide-ranging hour-long question and answer session Friday morning at Phoenix Raceway, NASCAR President Steve Phelps and Chief Operating Officer Steve O’Donnell addressed the media, delivering an upbeat update on the state of the sport and addressing issues from scheduling, leadership, diversity and the status of the Next Gen car heading into the 2023 season, which marks the sport’s 75th anniversary.

Kyle Larson’s late-race heroics earns an Auto Club victory in the NASCAR Cup Series Wise Power 400 on Sunday afternoon in Fontana, CA.

After a one-year break, the NASCAR Cup Series returns to Fontana, California for the Wise Power 400 at Auto Club Speedway. This track has been one of the most fun tracks to race at for obvious reasons. Wide, sweeping corners and an abrasive surface have drivers begging for new tires after the first fifteen laps. Multiple grooves will work at this track; the trick is finding the correct one.
