NASCAR’s Nationwide Series drivers are ready for their next race at the world’s fastest half-mile – Bristol Motor Speedway, Friday, August 23rd. Television coverage starts at 7:30pm ET on ESPN (check your local listings) and radio coverage is on PRN, Sirius XM, channel 90.

The Nationwide Series’ points battle is narrowing to just five contenders: Sam Hornish Jr, Elliott Sadler, Regan Smith, Austin Dillon and Brian Vickers. With just 18 points separating them, all five drivers have a real shot at capturing the title. Continue reading →

The reasons why fans adore the Bristol Motor Speedway were on display during the truck race Wednesday night. Classic Bristol showed up to put on quite a wild show. Action was evident throughout the race and a photo finish was the perfect end to the night. Kyle Busch edged out Timothy Peters in an ending that would fit the term “checkers or wreckers” perfectly. Sprint Cup Chase Tracker – Michigan

ChaseTrackerMichigan300x400Sprint Cup drivers were at one of the fastest tracks on the circuit this weekend at Michigan International Speedway and with lots of action throughout the race, results are mixed for the provisional Chase field.

Once again, Chase Tracker will analyze this week’s five-race average finish – Loudon through Michigan – and the Race to the Chase average finish – Kentucky through Michigan – in addition to changes within the point standings.
