Harvick sweeps Michigan doubleheader in the NASCAR Cup Series, FireKeepers Casino 400/ Consumers Energy 400 as a championship favorite with back-to-back victories on consecutive days.

With the regular season winding down, the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Michigan for a double-header weekend. Multiple teams are currently sitting on the bubble and looking for an opportunity to race their way into the playoffs. Michigan International Speedway is most likely the best opportunity for these teams to take care of business. With high speeds and long sweeping corners, this track always hosts action-packed races.

Keselowski wins third race in the NASCAR Cup Series Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 on Sunday afternoon at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

After a small break, the NASCAR Cup Series heads north to race the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. With only six points-paying races remaining in the regular season, several drivers are under the gun to clinch a playoff spot. For the second time in thirty-two years, the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star race moved the venue to a different track. The first switch happened in 1986 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The All-Star event, typically at Charlotte Motor Speedway, was moved to Bristol Motor Speedway this season.

Kentucky Speedway has given teams a challenge in trying to manage the low banked corners of a fast intermediate track. A change was made a few years ago to make turns three and four shallower in banking than turns one and two. The modification makes the track unique to other 1.5-mile courses on the schedule.
