Returning to Pocono Raceway for their second event of the season, the Monster Energy Cup Series looks to continue what has been an eventful stretch of racing throughout the middle course of the season. With the standings tightening up, racing at Pocono will give drivers a challenge on the ‘Tricky Triangle’ in order to make up ground in the standings.

Justin Haley Wins First Career Race in Rain-Shortened Coke Zero Sugar 400

The NASCAR Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series returned to Daytona International Speedway for their final July race. Next year’s summer Daytona race will be held as the season cut-off before the playoffs begin. After a rain delay on Saturday night, the raced was moved to continue on Sunday afternoon.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series returned to the west coast for a one race stint at Sonoma Raceway. This year the road course incorporated the carousel to add more difficulty. This change also features a hairpin turn coming off the carousel and adds another challenging breaking zone, as drivers struggle with overusing their brakes at Sonoma.

Logano Delivers Monday Night at Michigan

The NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series was rained out on Sunday and forcing a reschedule to Monday evening with drivers their talent to the Irish Hills of Michigan International Speedway. This two-mile course holds four large, sweeping corners that can cause irritating problems for race teams. Many fans predicted this year’s aero-package to thrive on the typically fast track.
