Recently, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Danica Patrick announced publicly that they are now dating as they head into their Sprint Cup Rookie seasons. In turn, many members of the media have written about the new relationship between competitors. But this topic raises a question, how far is too far in covering an athlete’s personal life? Brian Keselowski will not attempt the Daytona 500 on his own.

Brian Keselowski has partnered with Kelly Owens who is a partner with Hamilton Means Racing. The two sides will team up together for the Daytona 500 on February 24th. Keselowski announced earlier this year that he would attempt the Daytona 500 in his own No. 92 Toyota. But now he will drive the No. 52 Toyota with the new partnership. Continue reading

Golden Corral Will Return On The No. 36 in Sprint Cup Series

Tommy Baldwin Racing announced Monday that Golden Corral will return as a primary sponsor in 2013.

Golden Corral will be the primary sponsor on the No. 36 Chevrolet for all four plate races in the Sprint Cup Series this season, similar to what they have done in recent years.  J.J Yeley will be behind the wheel for all four races in 2013.

It is hard to imagine that NASCAR‘s most popular driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr., is still looking for sponsorship as the new season is just around the corner, but it’s true. Maybe it’s the economy, ticket sales or the asking price. We may never truly know. But one thing we have learned, finding sponsorship for premier NASCAR teams is as hard as it has ever been.
