This episode centers around Texas Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, along with the ARCA Menards Series at Iowa Speedway. We’ll also update the ARCA East and West along with post-race audio as time allows.

  • First, we provide a brief update from the ARCA East and West Series. Then, we review the ARCA Menards Series with Sioux Chief Showdown results at Iowa Speedway.

Commentary: Noah Gragson: “It’s Just Hard Racing.”  Two-thirds of the way through the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season it is hard to find a more polarizing figure than the driver of the JR Motorsports No. 9, Noah Gragson.

Commentary: Noah Gragson, “Just Hard Racing.” Two-thirds of the way through the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season it’s hard to find a more polarizing figure than the driver of the JR Motorsports No. 9, Noah Gragson. 

Gragson has success this season but also has become the source of controversy.  According to an NBCSN graphic displayed during the July 18th Xfinity Series race at Texas, Gragson has been involved in an on-track incident in 12 of the 16 races so far this season.

Ty Gibbs Dominates at Iowa Speedway

Ty Gibbs dominates at Iowa Speedway in the ARCA Menards Series Shore Lunch 150 on Saturday, July 18th to earn his second straight win.

It was yet another impressive accomplishment from 17-year-old Ty Gibbs with a dominating run in the Shore Lunch 150 at Iowa Speedway. Gibbs led 140 laps on his way to his second-straight victory, and third win in his last four starts. Gibbs also won in the ARCA Menards Series East earlier this summer along with the West finale to close out the 2019 season. He’s won five of his last eight starts in the three ARCA Series.

Elliott Claims First All-Star Victory

Elliott claims first All-Star victory in the NASCAR Cup Series exhibition event on Wednesday, July 15th at Bristol Motor Speedway.

For the second time in thirty-two years, the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star race moved the venue to a different track. The first switch happened in 1986 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The All-Star event, typically at Charlotte Motor Speedway, was moved to Bristol Motor Speedway this season.
