In his inaugural race at Motordrome Speedway, 17-year-old Dillon Bassett grabbed a breakthrough NASCAR K&N East victory in the UPMC Health Plan 150, becoming the 100th different winner in series history.

Getting to the finish line was the challenge for Bassett, from Winston-Salem, NC, with two late-race red flags then intense racing from competitor Austin Hill in the closing laps. Continue reading

Driving the No. 34 for HScott Motorsports with Justin Marks, Scott Heckert raced to the Bully Hill Vineyards 125 checkered flag at Watkins Glen International, to earn back-to-back K&N East victories. McReynolds’ First Career Win Comes In K&N Pro Combo Event At Iowa

Keeping the trend of new winners at Iowa Speedway intact, Brandon McReynolds became the 12th different winner in 12 meetings at Iowa between the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and West.

The soon-to-be 24-year-old driver from Mooresville, North Carolina, picked up his first NASCAR K&N Pro Series win Saturday night in the Casey’s General Stores 150. McReynolds, driving the No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts car for Bill McAnally Racing, became the second West driver in 12 races to win the combination race at Iowa. New NASCAR Next Class Already Making Mark on Track

Five of the six NASCAR K&N Pro Series race winners in 2015 are 21 years old or younger. The championship points leaders in both the East and West are 17 and 16. And a 17-year-old just became the highest-finishing female in the 61-year history of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West.

It is fitting that as fans celebrate Jeff Gordon’s final year of competition, the ranks of NASCAR is becoming filled with young drivers battling to one day fill that void. Grabbing his first K&N Pro Series East win Saturday night at Bristol Motor Speedway, 17-year-old, Kyle Benjamin is one to watch this season.
