NASCAR XFINITY Series teams are preparing for the third Dash 4 Cash race, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet 200 at Dover International Speedway on Saturday, May 14th, which includes two heat races at 40 laps each and the main event of 120 laps. FOX coverage begins at 2 pm ET with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

It’s Baaaaack: Dash 4 Cash Returns

Another $100,000 bonus is on the line this weekend at Dover International Speedway as the NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash 4 Cash will be in full swing for the third round of the popular 2016 program – Saturday’s Ollies Bargain Outlet 200.

The XFINITY Series Dash 4 Cash includes Two Heats and a Main at four tracks this season: Bristol Motor Speedway (April 16), Richmond International Raceway (April 23), Dover International Speedway (May 14) and Indianapolis Motor Speedway (July 23). Continue reading

NASCAR XFINITY Series teams are off for one more week before heading to Texas Motor Speedway next weekend for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300. Teams will prepare to race 200 laps covering 300 miles at Texas on Friday, April 8th with FOX Sports 1 coverage beginning at 8 pm ET and a green flag around 8:30 pm ET. Radio coverage is on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

Suárez’s 2016 Start is Comparable to Past Champions

He leads the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship standings by ten points over second-place Elliott Sadler after the first five races. Austin Dillon Saves Fuel, Wins XFINITY Thriller at Fontana

Seconds after crossing the finish line 0.715 seconds ahead of runner-up Kyle Busch, Austin Dillon summed up Saturday’s TreatMyClot.com 300 by Janssen in one short sentence.

“I’d rather be lucky than good,” Dillon chortled on his team radio after ending evading Busch’s last-ditch attempt to pinch the winning No. 2 Chevrolet into the outside wall at Auto Club Speedway.

And that was just the last stanza of a crazy last lap that saw: 1) Busch slow to a crawl, short on fuel; 2) Daniel Suárez take the lead from his Joe Gibbs racing teammate on the backstretch, only to run out of fuel; 3) Busch regain the lead despite cutting a left front tire on his last lap; and 4) Dillon come from a half-lap down to pass Busch as the drivers approached the finish line. For the last 25 years, Bill McAnally Racing with NAPA Auto Parts have been a pillars within the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West and this past season is no exception, with his teams often contending for wins and ending their season with their sixth series championship with Chris Eggleston.  Teammate Brandon McReynolds made series history as the first West driver to win both East-West combination events at Iowa Speedway this season.

Bill McAnally Racing has an impressive run with NAPA for the last 25 years with over 60 victories and now six K&N West championships. The McAnally organization has reached beyond the K&N Pro Series also holding titles locally in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and Rookie of the Year honors with the Camping World Truck Series in 2002. McAnally and NAPA have also taken on title sponsorship in a myriad of K&N Pro Series West races and are now taking their efforts to the East series the last couple of years.

K&N East drivers, Nick Drake ran the full season finishing seventh in the series point standings. Among other drivers racing for Bill McAnally in the East are Cole Custer and his West driver, Brandon McReynolds.  Continue reading
