Charlotte Motor Speedway: A Clash of Tradition and History Make Up This Gem

Many dreaming of going to the track and seeing the monstrous venue for themselves. Certain tracks have a uniqueness that makes fans want to go take in the sights that particular track beholds. A Night of Falling Cables, Carnage, and Drama Leaves Harvick in Victory Lane

The longest race of the season had some of the most bizarre events unfold throughout the night. It started out with a cable falling from the sky (actually a camera) and then the full-moon implemented a series of accidents towards the end of the race. Once the smoke settled, Kevin Harvick was standing in victory lane for the second time in the Coca Cola 600. This race always features a twist of events around the 500 mile mark and Sunday night’s event didn’t disappoint in that category. The action was all-over the track throughout the night and each occurrence in the race will be making headlines in the week to come. Continue reading

Star of the A&E show “Duck Dynasty” and Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson will give the invocation for Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Robertson, the only family member with a business degree, is credited with taking his father’s duck-call business from a living room operation to a multi-million dollar business. His entire family is highlighted in the reality show “Duck Dynasty,” an inside look at these self-proclaimed “Rich Rednecks” from the Louisiana bayou. Continue reading
