Teams will have a second crack at Charlotte Motor Speedway with the Generation six car before the new season starts. Sprint Cup teams will test at Charlotte Thursday and Friday. Many more teams will be at Charlotte those two days, than the first test in mid December of 2012. There are 33 cars on the entry list for the test session, where drivers and crews should find out much more about the Generation six car and what they can do to improve with more drivers’ input. 2013 will see another pair of drivers at a new home. Kasey Kahne and Brad Sweet, who shared a Nationwide Series ride in the no. 38 Great Clips car, during the 2012 season for Turner Motorsports, will be with a new NNS team this season at JR Motorsports. Continue reading
