DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (April 28, 2020) – NASCAR and Texas Motor Speedway today announced the format, technical elements, eligibility, and pre-race festivities for the 2021 NASCAR All-Star Race. The event, which moves to TMS for the first time in its 36-race history, will have a Fort Worth feel as the pre-race festivities will feature an Old Western theme during driver introductions.

Most people probably think the next chapter in Tony Stewart’s life begins on Sunday night, after he races his final laps in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

But from Stewart’s perspective, the next phase of his life starts on Saturday, a day before Sunday’s Ford EcoBoost 400 at 2:30 pm on NBC, his final race in NASCAR’s premier division.

Saturday is when he gets a new cell phone to replace the one stolen on Thursday night.

Someone presumed to be a pickpocket bumped into Stewart when he and his girlfriend stopped at a carnival on the way from Miami Beach to Homestead and pilfered the cell phone from the driver’s pocket. Continue reading

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams will race 250.5 miles over 167 laps in the Rattlesnake 400 on Friday, June 10th at Texas Motor Speedway with television coverage on FOX Sports 1 starting at 8:30 pm ET and a green flag around 9 pm ET.  Radio coverage is on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

Three-Peat: Crafton Goes for Third Straight June Texas Victory

Matt Crafton, who’s won the last two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races this season and the past two June contests at Texas Motor Speedway, will go for his third consecutive win in Friday’s Rattlesnake 400 at the 1.5-mile track.

In 30 career starts at Texas, Crafton owns two wins, 11 top-fives, 19 top-tens and a 9.7 average finish. He has placed in the top-ten in his last nine starts there. The ThorSport Racing driver also has three runner-up showings at Texas. Continue reading
