Also, Jim Cohan, President/CEO of Irwindale Event Center talks about reopening the track, events July 19th and their 2014 season. And Jason Galvin, Director of Communications and Announcer at Irwindale Event Center talks about his experience at the track over the years.

Also, Whelen All-American driver Toni McCray joins the conversation after winning two events at Irwindale Speedway. McCray is now 18 points away from leading the point standings and intends to compete hard in the next Twins features at Irwindale on July 19th.

In the first half-hour, Patrick Staropoli joins us to talk about ‘Driven’ a new documentary about his racing career, Harvard degree and Medical studies.  He’ll also talk about his new role at Michael Waltrip Racing as a Marketing Intern.

Guests include K&N Pro Series Wast driver James Bickford, with Bob Bruncati Racing. After just five races, Bickford is seventh in the series’ point standings during his rookie season. His famous cousin is, Sprint Cup Series driver Jeff Gordon.

Also we welcome NHRA Top-Fuel dragster, Richie Crampton with Morgan Lucas Racing. Crampton’s first career victory was this past weekend and he becomes the second Australian in NHRA history to win.
