Kelly Admiraal and Swan Rentals Joins RAB Racing at Bristol Motor Speedway

NASCAR K&N West standout Kelly Admiraal will make his first start with RAB Racing for 2014 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 15th driving the No. 29 Swan Rentals Toyota Camry. 18 year-old Admiraal, a native of Edmonton, Alberta Canada will make just his second NASCAR Nationwide Series start, the first coming at Phoenix International Raceway in November of 2013. Admiraal plans to compete in multiple races in the No. 29 Swan Rentals Toyota Camry for RAB Racing throughout the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series season. Continue reading

Dylan Kwasniewski Signs with Chip Ganassi Racing as Newest Development Driver

The only driver to win both NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series East & West championships back-to-back is Dylan Kwasniewski. He’s also one of several drivers in NASCAR’s Next program that identifies and promotes the up-and-coming talent for the future of NASCAR’s top-three series. This year straight from the K&N Pro Series, Kwasniewski is driving a full-time schedule in the Nationwide Series with Turner Scott Motorsports and is contending for series’ Rookie of the year honors.

Along with Kwasniewski’s ability to attract a younger NASCAR audience, some of NASCAR’s top-series teams are noticing Kwasniewski’s talent, making him highly sought as a development driver. But only one team made the offer Kwasniewski accepted and that team is Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates. Throwback Thursday – Busch Series Heads West for the First Time

Seven years after first driving in a NASCAR major series, Jeff Green picks up his first NASCAR Nationwide Series victory – 1997  In 2000, Green had one of his most dominant years with 25 top-fives and won the Busch championship by over 600 points. 2001 marked the third consecutive season, Jeff Green finishes in at least second place in the Nationwide (Busch) Series, one of the best stretches in circuit history.

During the first 15 years of its existence, the NASCAR Busch Series never made a stop to a track west of the Mississippi River.
