Keselowski Takes Checkers in Texas Nationwide Race

Once again during Saturday afternoon’s Nationwide Series race at Texas, it was the No.22 car in victory lane. One of the most dominating seasons continues for the Penske Racing entry. This victory is the No.22 car’s twelfth on the year and Keselowski’s sixth. The owner’s championship is very much within reach for this team and this race solidified that point.

A Penske parade was up front early when Sam Hornish Jr. took the lead from Alex Bowman on lap five and then Keselowski passed Hornish Jr. one lap later. After the Penske stint up front, Joe Gibbs Racing held the top positions for mostly the mid-part of the race. Continue reading

A Dillon Domination in Texas

Ty Dillon was in a race of his own Friday night at the Texas Motor Speedway. The No.3 truck absolutely crushed the field throughout the event en route to Dillon’s second victory of the season. He is doing all he can at this point in the season to chase down points leader Matt Crafton. Crafton had yet another solid performance giving him the potential of clinching the championship at Phoenix next weekend on the table. Continue reading

Martin Truex Jr Signs Multi-Year Contract with Furniture Row Racing

Furniture Row Racing general manager, Joe Garone, announced today that the Denver, CO-based organization has entered into a multi-year agreement with Martin Truex Jr to drive the team’s No. 78 beginning with the 2014 Sprint Cup Series season.

ARCA Racing Series Winner is ready to tackle the ‘Tricky Triangle

Since making the announcement to drive for Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) behind the wheel of the No. 51 Tastee Apple/Ingersoll Rand Toyota Tundra in four NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) races in 2013, Chad Hackenbracht has had the 2.5-mile “Tricky Triangle” circled on his calendar. As the 2012 winner of the ARCA Racing Series August race, the 21-year-old New Philadelphia, Ohio native is ready to get back behind the wheel of the No. 51 Tundra and this time, he’s looking for redemption at one of his favorite tracks – Pocono (Pa.)
