With just eight races left to run in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regular season, three-time champion Tony Stewart is searching for answers on how to get his team on the right track.  To say this has been a ‘disappointing season’ is most likely an understatement considering Stewart’s stats from 18 starts this year which include three races he didn’t finish because of issues.  With an average start of 17.2, an average finish of 25.1 and a 33rd-place finish at Kentucky Speedway with a new low downforce package, Stewart and his fans are left wondering when a more positive direction for his No. 14 team will come.  Continue reading →

Reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick’s dominating year on the race track earned him the ESPY for ‘Best Driver’ last night at the 23rd annual ESPY Awards show presented by ESPN. Harvick triumphed over 2015 Indianapolis 500 champion Juan Pablo Montoya, 2014 IndyCar champion Will Power, 2014 Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton and 2014 NHRA champion Erica Enders-Stevens for the win. Coverage starts with the pre-race show at 7 p.m. ET and the race broadcast begins at 7:45 p.m. ET.

That simple statement hardly plumbs the depth of emotion Kyle Busch was feeling after winning Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway.

In the first-ever 1-2 finish in the series by the Busch brothers, Kyle Busch beat Kurt Busch to the finish line by .532 seconds to win for the first time since returning from an 11-race absence because of a broken right leg and left foot sustained in a Feb. 21 accident at Daytona International Speedway.
