Tyler Reddick Takes the Checkered Flag at Road America for his First NASCAR Cup Series Victory

Tyler Reddick takes the checkered flag at Road America for his first NASCAR Cup Series victory in the Kwik Trip 250 on Sunday afternoon.

Over the fourth of July weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series heads into Wisconsin for another road course race. NASCAR’s top drivers went 62 laps around the historic road course that is Road America. A long four-mile road course that takes the field down long straight-aways, through tight corners, and around a carousel before coming back up the hill to the start-finish line. It is a fun road course that often has action around every corner.

FORT WORTH _ After running among the leaders all afternoon, Tyler Reddick took the point himself with a dramatic pass from third place with 31 laps remaining and held off the field to take the checkered flag in Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR Xfinity Series SRS Distribution 250 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Kurt Busch moves past Kyle Larson to win at Kansas Speedway in the NASCAR Cup Series AdventHealth 400 on Sunday afternoon.

With just one week left till the all-star break, the NASCAR Cup Series moves on to Kansas Speedway. The series is now at the halfway point of the season and the race is on for many to secure the few remaining playoff spots. A handful of drivers are on the bubble looking for a chance to sneak in with a win. It is one race at a time, and the challenge to win continues at Kansas.
