Mike Marlar Moving from Grassroots to NASCAR National Level

Coming out of Winfield, Tennessee, dirt track late-model driver Mike Marlar has made a name for himself racing across the country. He is the reigning World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late-Model Champion having started 2018 with winning the Wild West Shootout in Arizona. He has won the infamous Knoxville Late-Model Nationals twice, in 2016 and 17. Early this year, he became the first three-time winner of the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Models Series Clash at the Mag at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Mississippi, a Crown Jewel Event.

Northern California Native to Share the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro with Kyle Larson

Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) announced today that Tyler Reddick, a current driver and a three-time winner in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), will pilot the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro in multiple NASCAR XFINITY Series races in 2017. Reddick, 20, will share the No. 42 Chevrolet with 2014 NASCAR Sprint Series Rookie of the Year and 2016 member of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Kyle Larson. Veteran XFINITY Series crew chief Mike Shiplett will continue to lead the No. 42 team. Continue reading

Fans Look Forward to Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals

Every January, drivers from all over the world and all disciplines of racing flock to the QuikTrip Center in Tulsa, OK.  Why Tulsa?  Simple, it is the home for Chili Bowl, otherwise known as the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, which takes place every year around this time.

Chili Bowl is in it’s 27th year and is a five-night event, January 14 to 18th, known as Midget racing’s answer to the Super Bowl. Every driver will give all their effort toward putting on a show for the fans while competing for the coveted Chili Bowl trophy, the Golden Driller. Continue reading
