Another outstanding and dominant performance by Kyle Busch led him to victory lane Friday night at Darlington. He remained up front in the VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200 for most of the night and by the time the checkered flag fell, he was the leader.

This is Busch’s fifth Nationwide Series victory of the season and his seventh NASCAR win so far in 2013. Busch proved how dominant he is in this race and may only be a warm-up for what will come in tomorrow’s Cup race.

Other than a few cautions, this race went by fairly quickly. Busch led for about the first 50 laps before his teammate, Matt Kenseth, beat him off of pit-road to snag the lead. The caution that set up the lead change, featured another of Busch’s teammates, Elliot Sadler. Sadler spun between turns one and two, but that didn’t slow him down as he ended the night finishing second. Continue reading

There’s only one track that could top the Talladega race, fans saw last weekend; and that track is Darlington.

The Bojangles’ Southern 500 will run on Saturday, May 11, 2013 and the green-flag will wave at 7:00 PM EST. The cars will beat and bang on the tough Darlington track for 367 laps and 501.322 miles. Fans waited through rain, wrecks, and a nail-biting green-white-checker finish to witness an incredible victory by the underdog, David Ragan. No one was talking about Ragan until the last lap when he emerged at the front of the field with drafting help from his teammate, David Gilliland. Both the David’s shot to the lead and blocked everyone else to make sure that Front Row Motorsports got to victory lane. They were successful and FRM got to celebrate their first Sprint Cup victory. Many will agree, the race was worth the wait and the ending didn’t disappoint. It may have taken a while, but this Talladega race was truly remarkable. Continue reading
