Kyle Larson slides past Chase Elliott to win at Watkins Glen International in the NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling at The Glen on Sunday afternoon.

Watkins Glen hosted the NASCAR Cup Series for another road course race in the 2022 campaign. Two more races were left before the beginning of the playoffs. With only one spot open, teams are scrambling to find a way to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, Ryan Blaney is holding on as tight as he can to that last spot. If one more driver wins his first race on the season, it could be over for Ryan Blaney and his team.

The NASCAR Cup Series regular season is winding down as only four races remain heading into Sunday’s race in Michigan. The playoff race remains close with two spots still available for someone to win their way in. Opportunities are fading away as difficult tracks are on the horizon to close out the regular season. This Sunday’s race is a good opportunity to grab a solid speedway win.

Tyler Reddick’s Second NASCAR Cup Series Win Comes at The Brickyard

Tyler Reddick’s second NASCAR Cup Series win comes at the Brickyard in the Verizon 200 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.

NASCAR teamed with the IndyCar Series for a big weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Both series utilized the road course layout at the versatile race facility. This is NASCAR’s second year racing on the road course rather the historic 2.5-mile rectangle. It is a tricky road course embedded with long straights leading into harsh corners. Typical of Indianapolis, the road course is fast and on Sunday, all the hazards were on full display.

Tyler Reddick takes the checkered flag at Road America for his first NASCAR Cup Series victory in the Kwik Trip 250 on Sunday afternoon.

Over the fourth of July weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series heads into Wisconsin for another road course race. NASCAR’s top drivers went 62 laps around the historic road course that is Road America. A long four-mile road course that takes the field down long straight-aways, through tight corners, and around a carousel before coming back up the hill to the start-finish line. It is a fun road course that often has action around every corner.

With just one week left till the all-star break, the NASCAR Cup Series moves on to Kansas Speedway. The series is now at the halfway point of the season and the race is on for many to secure the few remaining playoff spots. A handful of drivers are on the bubble looking for a chance to sneak in with a win. It is one race at a time, and the challenge to win continues at Kansas.
