A few short weeks ago, Patrick Staropoli and his Star Racing team finally celebrated winning the AutoNation Cure Bowl at Showtime Speedway in St Petersburg, Florida after his previous attempts at the bullring left him running out of gas, rained out and with an accident just five laps before the checkered flag. A perfect weekend for NASCAR Next driver Todd Gilliland at Bill McAnally Racing came to a close at Irwindale Speedway after his third consecutive victory of the 2017 K&N Pro Series West season. Picks Up First K&N Pro West Victory Of 2017
It wasn’t easy, but Thursday was Todd Gilliland’s day at Kern County Raceway Park.
After winning the only practice of the day at the California track, the 16-year-old from Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, piloted his No. 16 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota to his eighth career 21 Means 21 Pole Award in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West.
