The ARCA Racing Series has been on a week-long break and Venturini Motorsports driver, Tom Hessert is ready for action at Lucas Oil Raceway in Friday night’s Sioux Chief PowerPEX® 200 presented by Jive at Lucas Oil Raceway.

And there’s good reason, for Hessert’s No 25 Venturini Motorsports team to look forward to this weekend. Lucas Oil Raceway is the second race in the four-race event known as the Bill France Four Crown Championship – a prestigious title that every ARCA driver strives to earn.  Heading into the race this weekend Hessert is leading the way with a slim advantage over his teammate Dalton Sargeant and the series’ point leader Chase Briscoe. DEWALT Tools Spreads Sponsorship Across Joe Gibbs Racing; Gibbs Talks Matt Kenseth Contract

Joe Gibbs Racing announced Thursday afternoon at Daytona International Speedway that DEWALT Tools will step up their commitment within the organization, with a primary focus on Matt Kenseth in 2016 and 2017.

Promoting their new DEWALT FLEXVOLT product, the company will sponsor Kenseth in Saturday’s Coke Zero 400 and for four of the 10 Chase races at Chicagoland Speedway, Dover International Speedway, Kansas Speedway and the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway respectively. Continue reading

Christopher Bell Ready for Salem Speedway in ARCA Debut with Venturini Motorsports

Former USAC National Midget champion, Christopher Bell is heading to Salem Speedway this weekend racing with Venturini Motorsports for his career debut in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Bell is driving the No. 66 JBL Toyota Camry in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 on Sunday.

Although this is Bell’s first race on the Indiana short track he tested with Venturini Motorsports a couple of weeks ago, giving him confidence that he and his car are ready for action on the track. Continue reading

Buescher on Brink of First XFINITY Series Championship

It seems hard to believe, but just three races remain in the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series campaign.

The series just completed a 16-week stretch with no off-weekends that began at Daytona International Speedway in July and culminated at Kansas Speedway. Back at Chicagoland in June, the last race prior to the off-weekend, I wrote that when this stretch was completed, a driver would emerge as the championship favorite.

That driver pilots the No. 60 Ford for Roush Fenway Racing. While many expected Chase Elliott to defend his series championship before his promotion to the Sprint Cup Series next season, it’s been Chris Buescher that has maintained the lead since his trip to victory lane at Iowa Speedway back in May.
