Labor Day Dirt Duel at DuQuoin on Tap for ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards

Toledo, Ohio – As it has every year since 1983, the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards will make its annual appearance at the DuQuoin State Fair in DuQuoin, Illinois. And as is tradition, the General Tire Grabber 100 will close the Southern Illinois State Fair on Labor Day, September 3, the only major stock car event scheduled for the Monday of Labor Day weekend. Christian Eckes (No. 15 JBL Audio Toyota) took over the lead when most of the other lead lap cars pitted late in the race and held off two furious charges, first from teammate Logan Seavey and then from eventual runner-up Sheldon Creed, to score his second ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards win of 2018 in Sunday’s Allen Crowe 100 at the Illinois State Fair.

Dean Takes Pocono Pole; Looks for Two-in-a-Row in ModSpace 150

Gus Dean took to the track last in General Tire Pole Qualifying, but he will start the ModSpace 150 from the pole as he turned the fastest lap of the afternoon around the 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway. Dean’s lap of 52.850 seconds/179.293 miles per hour was good enough to lock down his first General Tire Pole Award of 2018 and the first of his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards career.

Sheldon Creed Takes Third General Tire Pole Award of 2018 for Fans with Benefits 150 at Iowa Speedway

Toledo, Ohio (July 7, 2018) – Sheldon Creed turned a lap of 23.982 seconds/131.349 miles per hour in the No. 28 United Rentals Toyota to earn his third General Tire Pole Award of the 2018 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menard season for Saturday’s Fans with Benefits 150 at Iowa Speedway. The pole is Creed’s third consecutive; he also earned the General Tire Pole Award at Gateway Motorsports Park and Chicagoland Speedway. Continue reading →
