One team with one goal in mind, Bob Bruncati with Sunrise Ford is beefing up his NASCAR K&N Pro Series West team this season to compete with the series powerhouse of Bill McAnally Racing. Bruncati is bringing a former K&N West champion, Derek Thorn, along with Ryan Partridge together as veterans of the series and as a dynamic duo force for competitors. Adding a third part-time team at Sunrise Ford, Trevor Huddleston will run a limited K&N West schedule this season.  Continue reading →

A few short weeks ago, Patrick Staropoli and his Star Racing team finally celebrated winning the AutoNation Cure Bowl at Showtime Speedway in St Petersburg, Florida after his previous attempts at the bullring left him running out of gas, rained out and with an accident just five laps before the checkered flag. Last November, Staropoli finished runner-up at the track’s 50-lap season finale.  Continue reading →
