Mid-afternoon, Richard Petty Motorsports’ famed No. 43 was back in Daytona’s Gatorade Victory Lane thanks to Aric Almirola’s rain-shortened win in the 56th Annual Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola. Dale Earnhardt Jr. took advantage of a Brad Keselowski fumble to grab his first Cup win at Pocono Raceway Sunday.
Earnhardt was running second when Keselowski went up behind a lapped car to get a piece of paper off his grill slowing the No. 2 car’s momentum down the Long Pond straightaway as Earnhardt drove on by for the lead. Continue reading

Denny Hamlin found himself in a familiar spot at Pocono Raceway, grabbing the pole for Sunday’s Pocono 400.

From lap one to lap 400, Sunday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway belonged solely to Jimmie Johnson. Johnson and his No. 48 team dominated as they perfectly executed a game plan en route to their first victory of the year.
Rarely does this team go too far into the season without scoring a victory. However, the team wasn’t fazed by the somewhat slow start this year. Demonstrating their strength as team in this race, Johnson once again proved why he’s a six-time champion. Continue reading
