On Sunday, Kyle Larson snags his second checkered flag in the NASCAR Cup Series in the NOCO 400 at Martinsville Speedway.

The NASCAR Cup Series final race on the short track swing takes them to Martinsville Speedway for the NOCO 400. This genuine short track is notorious for frustrating drivers. Long straights followed by tight corners make the fastest line around the paperclip oval tough to find. Coupled with 36 racers fighting for position, make short tempers flare. This is the perfect recipe to make friends heading to Talladega Superspeedway next weekend.

On Sunday afternoon, Kyle Larson claims his first NASCAR Cup Series victory at Martinsville Speedway in the NOCO 400.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Kyle Larson’s Hendrick Motorsports team gambled on a late race two-tire pit stop to give him a fighting chance for the victory, and he took the opportunity and drove away to a commanding 4.142-second win in Sunday’s NOCO 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

Christopher Bell takes control late in the race to win on Bristol Dirt in the NASCAR Cup Series Food City Dirt Race on Sunday.

In the middle of the short track stretch, the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Bristol Motor Speedway for a showdown on the dirt. This is NASCAR’s third year of running the spring Bristol race on the dirt surface. The idea has caught plenty of attention as NASCAR has also implemented a racing format similar to other dirt racing series. Four heat races were held on Saturday night to set the lineup for Sunday night’s main event.

The NASCAR Cup Series Power Ranking after Richmond Raceway’s Toyota Owners 400 is presented as teams now head to Bristol for racing on Dirt.

After a brief hiatus, the power ranking is back following the seventh race of the NASCAR Cup Series regular season. Over the past couple of weeks, we saw Tyler Reddick emerge from the craziness to claim a checkered flag at COTA, and Kyle Larson outlasted teammate William Byron to grab his first win of the season at Richmond. With two races to consider, there is some movement in the Power Ranking this week, including another new No. 1.
