Early in the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season, Fords have dominated the headlines.

Kurt Busch won the season Daytona 500 in a Stewart-Haas Racing Ford. Brad Keselowski won the following week at Atlanta. Kevin Harvick has won three of the four preliminary stages contested under NASCAR’s enhanced three-stage race format. Continue reading

Optimism Abounds at NASCAR’s West Coast Media Day in Las Vegas

Optimism and excitement were the common themes that flowed through NASCAR’s West Coast Media Day at The Bellagio’s Hyde night club in Las Vegas on Thursday.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers Kyle Larson, Daniel Suarez and Ryan Blaney joined Las Vegas Motor Speedway President Chris Powell, Auto Club Speedway President Dave Allen and Phoenix Raceway President Bryan Sperber to speak to the media at the exclusive club. Noah Gragson Making Truck Series Debut at Phoenix International Raceway

Noah Gragson is making his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) in the running of the Lucas Oil 150 Friday, November 11th.

Gragson is piloting the No. 18 Speed Vegas/ Alert ID Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) Toyota Tundra entry, owned by Richie Wauters at the Avondale, Arizona track.

The 18-year-old NASCAR Next driver started in the Bandoleros at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, eventually moving into late models.  In 2015, Noah joined the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West making his series debut at Kern County Raceway Park. He finished third after qualifying eighth. At Tucson Raceway Park, Gragson battled with his teammate for his first career victory. Later in the season at Meridian (Idaho) Speedway, he recorded his first pole position and led 176 laps to win. Continue reading

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams return to action on Saturday, October 22, 2016 for 94 laps covering 250.04 miles in the fred’s 250 powered by Coca-Cola at Talladega Superspeedway. Television coverage is on FOX at 12:30 pm ET with radio coverage also available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

What to Watch For: Timothy Peters goes for his third straight win at Talladega.

Timothy Peters (2014, 2015), Johnny Sauter (2013) and Parker Kligerman (2012) are the only drivers in the field who have won at Talladega.
