Michael Waltrip will attempt the Daytona 500 in February. But it’s not with the team you would expect.

Waltrip will try to make the Daytona 500 field with Swan Racing in the No. 30. Swan Racing came under new ownership this past off-season and plans to run the full NASCAR season for the first time in the team’s history. David Stremme will remain with the team in 2013 but will have to sit out for the Daytona 500.
