Hey race fans, catch our NASCAR Weekend Preview with host Sharon Burton from Fan4Racing, co-host Chris Knight from Catchfence, and Fan4Racing writer, Zach Roethlisberger.

We’re chatting about all the hottest topics and what fans can expect at the track over the upcoming weekend of racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with the NASCAR Sprint Cup, XFINITY, K&N East Series and Whelen Modified Tour, as well as, the ARCA Racing Series at Iowa Speedway. The Camping World Truck Series returns to action on Wednesday, July 22nd at Eldora Speedway.

When possible, we bring  guests from around the NASCAR world to give their perspective too.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Continues Racing Dominance at LA Awards Show

Reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick’s dominating year on the race track earned him the ESPY for ‘Best Driver’ last night at the 23rd annual ESPY Awards show presented by ESPN. Harvick triumphed over 2015 Indianapolis 500 champion Juan Pablo Montoya, 2014 IndyCar champion Will Power, 2014 Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton and 2014 NHRA champion Erica Enders-Stevens for the win. Roush Fenway Racing Shows Improvement at Kentucky Speedway

It’s safe to say, the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season has been a bit of a disappointment for Roush-Fenway Racing. Going into the Quicker State 400 at Kentucky on Saturday night, Roush Fenway driver point standings stood at 19th (Greg Biffle), 27th (Trevor Bayne), and 28th (Ricky Stenhouse Jr.).  Up to this point, the three drivers together were at two top-fives and five top-tens. Not the usual, 17 races into the season for a team that has taken home Sprint Cup Series championships in the past.

Kyle Busch Masters New Aero Package in Sprint Cup Win at Kentucky

Adapting adroitly to a new competition package for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series cars, Kyle Busch sped to victory in Saturday night’s Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway, taking a giant step toward the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup with his second victory since returning from an 11-race injury absence.

Busch won for the 31st time in his career and the second time at the 1.5-mile track. Race runner-up Joey Logano was the only interloper in a top-five that also included all four Joe Gibbs Racing drivers—Busch, Denny Hamlin in third, Carl Edwards in fourth and Matt Kenseth in fifth. Continue reading
