Not a typical racer, Julia Landauer is from New York, NY and has her degree in Science, Technology and Society from Stanford University. In that program, Landauer studied business, engineering, marketing, and how modern technology applies to racing. This year she is racing her NASCAR K&N Pro Series West rookie season with Bill McAnally Racing and in her first two races she has two top-ten finishes at Irwindale Speedway and Kern County Raceway. NASCAR Drive for Diversity Unveils 2016 Driver Roster

Six Drivers Will Compete for Rev Racing in Top Development Program 

After a competitive Combine event last October, six drivers were selected to the 2016 NASCAR Drive for Diversity® (D4D) class and will join the industry’s premier development program for multicultural and female drivers, and pit crew members.

Talented drivers from across the Americas will compete for Rev Racing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, and attempt to follow in the footsteps of D4D graduates and current NASCAR national series drivers Kyle Larson, Darrell Wallace Jr. and Daniel Suárez. After racing limited late-model events in the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour and Lucas Oil Modifieds, and competing in NASCAR’s Whelen All-American Series at Irwindale Speedway and finishing fourth in the series’ point standings this season, Blaine Perkins is now making his way into the next level –  NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series.

Racing with Steve Portenga Racing, in their familiar No. 21 car, Perkins will compete for the K&N West Rookie of the Year honors in the 2016 season. Continue reading
