The Nationwide Series silly season has been in full swing, with changes taking place even before the racing season wrapped up for 2012. Look for more changes before the new season starts in February 2013.

The Shootout Will Miss NASCAR’s Top Stars

The Shootout is going back to the way things use to be come February at Daytona and two of NASCAR’s biggest names will not be there.

In 2013, drivers eligible for the Shootout include pole winners from the 2012 season and past Shootout winners.

Two of the sport’s biggest drivers didn’t make that list. Those drivers include last year’s Sprint Cup champion, Brad Keselowski, and Clint Bowyer. Two of the sports most refreshing and outspoken drivers will be no where to be found on the race track when NASCAR hits the track that Saturday night.
