Dale Earnhardt Jr. Joining FOX Sports NASCAR XFINITY Series Booth as Analyst at Michigan International Speedway

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is joining the FOX NASCAR television booth as a guest driver analyst for FOX Sports 1’s live coverage of the NASCAR XFINITY Series race from Michigan International Speedway on Saturday, June 11 at 1:30 PM ET. Earnhardt Jr. will team with FOX NASCAR play-by-play announcer Adam Alexander and analyst Michael Waltrip to offer analysis for the entire race.

Earnhardt will be the eighth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver to serve as a guest driver analyst in the FOX NASCAR booth in 2016, following Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Clint Bowyer and Danica Patrick.

Sprint Cup Series teams  are racing 400 miles over 160 laps today in the Axalta ‘We Paint Winners’ 400 at Pocono Raceway. FOX Sports 1 coverage begins at 11:30 am ET with a green flag around 1 pm ET. Radio coverage is available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

Martin Truex Jr., from the one-car Furniture Row Racing team based in Denver, Colorado, set a NASCAR record and Charlotte Motor Speedway record on his way to his first victory of the season in the Coca-Cola 600.

The heartbreak kid survived 600 miles without another broken heart.

Instead, Martin Truex Jr. broke records in Sunday night’s victory in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, a race in which the driver of the No. 78 Furniture Row Toyota set new standards for domination.

Truex led 392 of 400 laps, most ever in NASCAR’s longest Sprint Cup Series race. He spent 588 of 600 miles at the front of the field, most ever in a single race in NASCAR history.

And when it was over, Truex had his first victory of the season, the fourth of his career and an all-but-guaranteed berth in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Fresh Tires Propel Hamlin to NASCAR XFINITY Series Win in Charlotte

In an event that bore notable similarities to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race a week earlier, Denny Hamlin won Saturday’s Hisense 300 NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway with a pass on the last lap.

Hamlin’s fresh rubber trumped the old tires of Kyle Larson and Joey Logano, who restarted ahead of Hamlin in overtime at the 1.5-mile track.

In fact, Hamlin restarted sixth on lap 205 after coming to pit road for four new tires under the eighth and last caution of the race, brought out when polesitter Erik Jones, Hamlin’s teammate, slammed the outside wall and performed the coup de grâce on his already wounded No. 20 Toyota.
