NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams converge at Eldora Speedway this weekend for the fan favorite event of the season the Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby on Wednesday, July 20th.  FOX Sports 1 coverage begins at 7 pm ET with a green flag around 9 pm ET with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

The format this weekend on dirt will cover 75 miles over 150 laps during three segments 40-50-60 laps.

John Wes Townley Not Cleared for Truck Return; Brady Boswell Expected to Drive at Eldora Speedway

Continuing to experience concussion-like symptoms, veteran NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver John Wes Townley will sit out Wednesday’s Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway.

A spokesperson for Athenian Motorsports confirmed the news to CATCHFENCE.com, stating that Townley was not medically cleared to return to competition this week. Continue reading →

Kenseth Battles to Front for Win at New Hampshire

In a race that saw many of the usual suspects go into hiding in the closing laps, Matt Kenseth battled to the front of the field from the 18th starting position and pulled away after a late restart to win Sunday’s New Hampshire 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Winning for the second time this season and for the third time at the Magic Mile, Kenseth crossed the finish line 1.982 seconds ahead of Tony Stewart, who solidified his position in the top-30 in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings – and in the Chase – with the runner-up finish.  Continue reading →

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has a week off before their next race on dirt at Eldora Speedway for the Dental Eldora Dirt Derby on Wednesday, July 20th. Byron Captures Fourth Win, KBM’s Record 51st Victory At Kentucky

William Byron led a race-high 70 laps on his way to his Camping World Truck Series-high fourth victory of the season in last Friday’s Buckle Up In Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway. Former USAC National Midget champion, Christopher Bell is heading to Salem Speedway this weekend racing with Venturini Motorsports for his career debut in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Bell is driving the No. 66 JBL Toyota Camry in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 on Sunday.

Although this is Bell’s first race on the Indiana short track he tested with Venturini Motorsports a couple of weeks ago, giving him confidence that he and his car are ready for action on the track. Continue reading →
