NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Bar Harbor 200 at Dover Preview

Following a week off, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will again hit the track this week at Dover International Speedway for the Bar Harbor 200 on Friday, June 2 at 5:30 pm ET with coverage available on FOX Sports 1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio at 5 pm ET.

Matt Crafton is the defending Camping World Truck Series race winner at Dover, while Christopher Bell (third) and Johnny Sauter (fourth) both finished in the top-five in last season’s race. 

Drivers will race 200 miles over 200 laps on the one-mile oval with Stage 1 ending on lap 45 and Stage 2 on lap 90.  The last Stage will end on the last lap 200.  Continue reading

NASCAR XFINITY Series DC Solar 200 at Phoenix Preview

NASCAR XFINITY Series PowerShares 300 at Daytona Preview

NASCAR XFINITY Series teams will race 300 miles over 120 laps in the PowerShares QQQ 300 at Daytona International Speedway Saturday, February 25, 2017. FOX Sports 1 coverage begins at 3 pm ET with the green flag around 3:30 pm ET. Radio coverage is on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Joe Gibbs Racing Goes for Six – After capturing its fifth NASCAR XFINITY Series owner title last season (2008, ’09, ’10, ’12 and ’16) the JGR organization immediately turned its attention to number six. This season Kyle Busch, Erik Jones, Matt Tifft and Daniel Suarez will contribute to the owner title winning cause. Jones, Tifft and Suarez will be competing this weekend at Daytona. JJ Yeley Joins AM Racing for Daytona Truck Series Opener

Officials from AM Racing (@AMRacingNASCAR) announced today that NASCAR veteran driver JJ Yeley will pilot the team’s No. 22 Toyota Tundra for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season-opening NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway on Friday night, February 24th.
Yeley, a native of Phoenix, Ariz. will make his 23rd career NCWTS start and first since last March’s race at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway. In Yeley’s previous 22 starts, the two-time USAC Sprint Car champion has one start at the “World Center of Racing” in 2010 resulting in tenth place finish.

The partnership for now is a one-race agreement with industry veteran Rick Ren serving as crew chief.

Yeley’s efforts will be backed by Legrand and Superior Essex. Continue reading
