NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams are back in action for 134 laps totalling 201 miles in the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 on Friday, May 20th at Charlotte Motor Speedway. FOX Sports 1 will begin their pre-race coverage at 8 pm ET with a green flag around 8:30 pm ET.  Preceding this race is the Sprint Showdown also on FOX Sports one starting at 7 pm ET.

After leading the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with six victories in 2015, Matt Crafton visited Victory Lane for the first time this season when he captured his 12th career checkered flag at Dover International Speedway. NASCAR XFINITY Series teams are taking a break and will return next week for the Hisense 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 28th. Fans can watch the entire 300 miles in 200 lap event on FOX Sports 1 starting at 2 pm ET with a green flag around 2:30 pm ET. Radio listeners can tune into PRN or SiriusXM NASCAR Radio

 

Gibbs has a Good One in Erik Jones

Joe Gibbs Racing continues to shell out talent in NASCAR and its latest prodigy, Erik Jones, has broken the mold.

In ten starts this season, Jones has two victories at Bristol and Dover, two Dash 4 Cash wins totaling $200,000 of bonus money and six top-fives. Erik Jones Dashes to Second XFINITY Series Win

NASCAR’s new Dash 4 Cash format agrees with Erik Jones – even when his No. 20 Toyota is running on older tires.

Despite staying out on used rubber for a restart with five laps left in Saturday’s Ollie’s Bargain Outlet 200 at Dover International Speedway, Jones pulled away to beat runner-up Darrell Wallace Jr. to the finish line by 1.434 seconds.

The victory was Jones second of the year, both on concrete tracks (Bristol and Dover). He has now won two of the three NASCAR XFINITY Series races held under the new Dash 4 Cash format, which features two heat races and a main event.

NASCAR XFINITY Series teams are preparing for the third Dash 4 Cash race, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet 200 at Dover International Speedway on Saturday, May 14th, which includes two heat races at 40 laps each and the main event of 120 laps. FOX coverage begins at 2 pm ET with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

It’s Baaaaack: Dash 4 Cash Returns

Another $100,000 bonus is on the line this weekend at Dover International Speedway as the NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash 4 Cash will be in full swing for the third round of the popular 2016 program – Saturday’s Ollies Bargain Outlet 200.

The XFINITY Series Dash 4 Cash includes Two Heats and a Main at four tracks this season: Bristol Motor Speedway (April 16), Richmond International Raceway (April 23), Dover International Speedway (May 14) and Indianapolis Motor Speedway (July 23). Continue reading →
