Jeff Gordon – Has an absolute rocket of a race car this weekend and I do think he will win if he can stay up front and out of trouble.Problem is, I don’t see that happening. 

Brad Keselowski – Both Penske cars are on a roll when it comes to restrictor plate racing. Keselowski won at Talladega in the fall and Logano won the Daytona 500 this year. Just personally have a good feeling about Keselowski this weekend. Continue reading

Now, the CEO and General Manager of JD Motorsports, Johnny Davis’ affiliation with NASCAR competition has spanned over 27 years. He started as a crew member and fabricator for several teams formerly in the Winston Cup – now Sprint Cup – and Busch – now Nationwide – Series teams.

Davis won a NASCAR Busch Series Championship with Larry Pearson in 1987.

In the early 1990’s Davis opened a competition Go-Kart shop while building NASCAR Show Cars. He built the largest model stock car in the US – CARZILLA – which is on display at NASCAR Cafe in Las Vegas.

Also a Crew Chief in USAR Pro Cup competition, Davis launched his own NASCAR Busch Series Team in 2002 in Blacksburg, SC.  He relocated into a bigger facility in Gaffney, SC in 2007. Now, the team operates full-time in the Nationwide Series with the No. 01 and No. 4 team with drivers Landon Cassill and Jeffrey Earnhardt.

As indicated in their Mission Statement, Davis and his JD Motorsports team build race teams with character and with determination they paint a professional image and offer cost-effective advertising and marketing programs to sponsors. But also a big part of the organization is providing exciting entertainment to fans, with the goal of “Winning while Enjoying the Sport.”

Each week as the team heads to a track, they offer fans a unique chance to become a part of the sport through JD Motorsports and their website RacingReflection.com.  NASCAR fans can have their photo displayed in a mosaic on the hood of Jeffrey Earnhardt or Landon Cassill cars as they race in the Nationwide Series, becoming a ride along marketing partner with JD Motorsports.
