A perfect weekend for NASCAR Next driver Todd Gilliland at Bill McAnally Racing came to a close at Irwindale Speedway after his third consecutive victory of the 2017 K&N Pro Series West season. Chasing 2017 NASCAR K&N West Championship in Full-Time Campaign

Last season, Otis Orchards, Washington native Nicole Behar raced only four NASCAR K&N Pro Series West events, recording two top-five and four top-ten finishes. Those four events allowed her to finish 20th in the K&N West point standings. Derek Thorn Dominates in Winter Showdown Victory at Home Track

In front of a packed house at Kern County Raceway this weekend, local Bakersfield, CA resident, Derek Thorn dominated all 250 laps of the SRL Southwest Touring Series’ Third Annual Winter Showdown, bringing home a $30,000 bonus for the win. After taking the pole in qualifying, Thorn led every lap in the première Super Late Model event that included big name drivers such as NASCAR’s Kyle Busch and Erik Jones as well as the Showdown’s winner the last two years, Bubba Pollard.

Thorn has traveled across the country as far as Pensacola, FL to compete in their Snowball Derby, and other première Super Late Model events including all three years at his home track of Kern County Raceway in the SRL’s Winter Showdown, dreaming of victory. Continue reading

27 Showcase Events Slated To Test Sport’s Top Young Talent

NASCAR fans have been thrilled in recent years by the achievements of the sport’s rising stars – from Joey Logano’s DAYTONA 500 win in 2015 to Austin Dillon, Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson joining him in the 2016 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Daniel Suarez won the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship this year and William Byron led the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in wins.

They all have one thing in common. They cut their teeth in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series before breaking into NASCAR’s national series.

With the announcement by NASCAR of the 2017 schedules for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and West, fans across the United States will get to see up close the next wave of young drivers looking to make their impact. Continue reading
