Kyle Busch Gets Breakthrough NASCAR XFINITY Win at The Glen

With a victory in Saturday’s Zippo 200, Kyle Busch continued to tick items off his bucket list.

Recovering from a wheel-hop and spin in turn one on lap 17 of 82 along with a penalty for driving through too many pit boxes, Busch claimed his first NASCAR XFINITY Series win at the 2.45-mile Watkins Glen International road course, beating pole-sitter Joey Logano to the finish line by 1.049 seconds. NASCAR XFINITY Series’ US Cellular 250 at Iowa Preview

NASCAR XFINITY Series teams are racing the US Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, July 29th at 3:30 pm ET. Coverage begins at 3 pm ET on NBC, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Drivers will race  218.75 miles over 250 laps with Stage 1 ending on lap 60, Stage 2 on lap 120, and the last stage ending on the last lap 250. Continue reading

Trevor Bayne Comes Tantalizingly Close to Victory

Roush Fenway Racing driver Trevor Bayne had a realistic chance to win for the first time since his stunning triumph in the 2011 Daytona 500.

With 11 laps left in Sunday’s Brantley Gilbert Big Machine Brickyard 400, Bayne was running third behind Brad Keselowski and Jimmie Johnson, but those two drivers were running short on fuel, and pit stops were imminent. Continue reading
